THE GIFT & CURSE OF TIME

I was writing a blog post a couple of days ago and looked down at my phone to see that one of my favorite blogger passed away. The news stopped me dead in my sentence. I quickly backspaced the whole post because it felt unimportant. Kyrzayda lost her battle to cancer and everyone who followed her felt it. It is crazy for someone I never met in person to have such an impact on my life. In that moment all my thoughts were consumed about all the time I waste on a daily. It hit me like a ton of bricks that I take life for granted.

If you knew you had a limited amount of time left would you be happy with the way you have lived your life thus far? Would you live your life differently knowing you had limited of time left?

As weird as it sounds her passing woke me up in a way. It opened my eyes to the real world, and in the real world time waits for nobody. I am the queen of saying "tomorrow" or "one day", but those days aren't promised. Kyrzayda said in her last live video via Instagram ".. just do it, just jump and just start, and do it today before it's too late or you never do it." Those messages have been playing in my head since I heard of her passing.

All you have is now. Your time is now.

With only four month left of 2018, what are some things that you have been putting off just for the sake of putting it off? I say you should just go for it! When you really think about why you haven't done something there is no good excuse. Just take the leap and go for it. In the last week I have said yes to probably more things now than I have the whole year. I have started things that I have put off and even started new project just because. There really no time like now. Don't wait until it is too late to start something just because of timing.

Again, there is no time like the present. Listen to Kyrzayda and just start.
