I started listening to podcast when I had to commute to work about two years ago. I commute over two hours there and back daily. I didn't want that to be wasted time throughout my day, so listening to podcasts seemed to be the best way to be productive, and I was right. Podcasts have transformed my life for the best. I relay listen to music in my car anymore just podcast. I am constantly learning new subjects and ideas whilst gaining inspiration.
Over the years I have listened to numerous amount of podcast, but I have found my top 10-15 podcast that I have on heavy rotation. Below are the 8 podcast I listen to the most, but the other podcasts I listen to are The School Of Greatness, The Business of Fashion Podcast, Being Boss, UnStyled, The GaryVee Audio Experience, The Bossbabe Podcast, She Did It Her Way, WSJ Secrets of Wealthy Women, and Entrepreneurs on Fire.
The Influencer Podcast: As you can tell by the name it is heavily focused on the rise of the internet. I listen to one of her podcast daily to keep me brushed up on the innner-workings of business, gaining momentum, and increasing income in the digital age. It also touches on topics such as confidence, fear, gratitude, and building for the future, etc. This podcast ask all the questions you would want to have the answer to and touches on subjects you want to learn about. She interviews influencers, the agents of the influencers, and fellow entrepreneurs.
Style Your Mind: The author of the famous Girl Code - (Like She Owns The Place, Sparkle, The Champagne Diet, Stripped, Fearless & Fabulous, and Style Your Mind) Cara Alwill Leyba. One of my favorite authors .. if you couldn't tell! Everything she does is authentic and raw, so you can't help but to resonate with her words. She touches on all subjects such as wellness, self love, business, branding, and interviewing other game changers. This is personally one of my favorite podcast because it covers just about everything, is a no bullshit zone, and just overall speaks to me.
Work Party: The creator of Create & Cultivate, Jaclyn Johnson, started her podcast June 2018. Here is where you can buy the book that Jaclyn released in 2018 as well (as well as listen to the podcast). The book was one of my favorite reads in 2018, but anyway her podcast is built for your everyday dreamer and hustler. She is queen of creating a sense of unity and togetherness through shared and learned experience. She also gives you live podcasts from the events she has held. She is a trail blazer and is surrounded by them so you get the inside knowledge from everyone. This podcast is pretty new to the scene, but I think it'll have a big impact.
Strategy Hour: Another title that gives it away. A focused hour on all things propelling you forward in life. This podcast touches on topics such as community, income, building an audience, etc. It is seriously your power hour (usually 46 minutes) of information to jump start your day while building your empire. There is a new episode every couple of days so you are never lacking in information to get you a step ahead.
Overnight Success: Maria Hatzistefanis is not only the creator of this podcast, but also the creator of Nip & Fab and Rodial. She gives you personalized interviews with some of the biggest names in the industry. She does have an accent, but you won't miss any information because of it. It touches on topics such as beauty, fitness, success, building a team, etc. Her podcast launched this year so it is fairly new but doesn't lack the knowledge or the credentials.
Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations: The queen of all queens. I feel like she is magnetic so I have to listen when she speaks. Oprah gives me the greatest insight especially when I am working through a breakthrough/rough time. This isn't one of the podcast you listen to passively in the background - this is a podcast that requires your attention. I only listen to her podcast in the morning on the weekends because I don't want to mess a word. Oprah is powerful beyond measure and she brings on people with the same stature to give you tips, tools, and advice on a plethora of topics such as manifestation, purpose, healing, forgiveness, compassion, etc.
Girl Boss Radio with Sophia Amoruso: The infamous Girl Boss herself! I mean that should be enough to say right there, but I shall dive a little deeper. She is the true woman leader. If you want to get motivated to take on the world then listen to her podcast. It is her and other women who have paved the way for not only themselves but for the other women (and men) reading this post.
Paychecks & Balances: Important to be knowledgable about your income, so I am forever learning about the ebbs and flows about money. I have watched money trap people and I have watched money propel people forward, so I want to know how to make my money work for me in every situation I may find myself in. Paychecks and Balances gives me the information I need in the access of headphones. I get to learn on my own time and speed.
Have you listened to any of these podcast before? If there are any podcast that you think I would be interested in? Feel free to comment or reach out to me! I love recommendations especially if it gives me knowledge, so share away!
