This one is for the moms again. A lot of people have reached out via Instagram on what products I love or what London is currently loving, so I thought I would make a list so that anyone having a baby/you are buying a gift for someone you can look in one place. All the things mentioned here are things we personally love, but like anything else, do your research and pick the ones that you like and work for you!
Below are 12 products that we are currently using daily:
Graco Gilder: London's favorite thing ever. She naps in here for hours. It swings, has a sound/music machine, and vibrates - aka it does everything. She was not a fan of her bassinet at all, so this has completely replaced her bassinet. She loves it so much she has multiple. Every house she stays at a glider. If you are debating on getting this or the bassinet I would 100% recommend buying this! I have her doc-a-tot inside here so it is more snug for her and she loves every minute of it.
Honest All Purpose Balm: The name says it all. You can use it for just about anything. I use it mostly as her diaper cream but I have also used it if I see any dry patches or anything on her. I keep one in her diaper bag, one in the car, and one in my house. It is safe to say I love this product!
Fisher Price Bouncer: I have purchased about a dozen or so different seats for London. She probably has every rocker, swing, and/or bouncer that is out there! Ironically this was the last and cheapest one that was purchased and she loves it. It is the only one that she loves and goes in everyday.I picked it up at our local target and haven't looked back since. She usually goes in the morning a little after she wakes up and again in the afternoon.
Hatch: Your essential sound machine. I love this one because it has an app as well. When we are getting ready for sleep I will turn the machine on from the other room. I can adjust the light, color, and the sound. The sound puts us both to sleep. We keep it on the "TV" setting.
Ergobaby Embrace Carrier: The first couple of weeks I did everything with her in my hands. I finally tried the carrier and there is no going back now for either of us. I love being hands free and she loves being on me while moving around. It is a win win. This one is the most simple carrier we have as well. I have also wore it while shopping instead of lugging her stroller around. She is guaranteed to fall asleep as well since she likes moving.
Huckleberry App: I track her sleep and poop diapers in this app. You can track just about everything here such as pumping and pee diapers as well. I love tracking her sleep to see if there are patterns and also to see how she is sleeping through the night. I can tell if she going to need a nap or is sleepy due to tracking how long she has been awake as well. I use this every single day. I check it as much as I check my instagram at this point. If I had to choose one favorite thing out of this whole list I would choose this app.
Baby Blankets: I don't know if it is weird to favor blankets or not, but yet here we are here. These are light weight but yet keep her covered. The regular receiving blankets are a bit short to me and when I am holding here they bunch up, so these blankets are my favorite because they are long and keep her covered and warmed.
Bright Starts Tummy Time Mat | SkipHop Activity Center: London's favorite past time is tummy time. It comes with a mirror and rattle that she loves to play.
Nursing Bras: These are just personally my favorite - I have every color. I find these easier than the regular nursing bras with the detachable straps. It has been the easiest way for me to nurse. They have thicker straps so they might not be the most appealing if you are wearing a skinny tank top, but personally I don't mind.
Haakaa: If you are breastfeeding, say hello to your saving grace. I haven't had to use an electric pump yet at all (she is two months) - I have been exclusively using the Haakaa for all my expressed milk. I use while the baby is sleeping and when she is nursing on the other side. I have been able to generate a freezer full of milk from the Haakaa.
Wipe warmer: I learned quickly that my daughter does not like cold wipes on her, so me and the wipe warmer have become close friends. The downside to that is when we are in transit or out they are no portable wipe warmers (someone please create this please & thank you), but nevertheless become friends with the wipe warmer.
Sterilized bags: Such a time hack! I do have a baby Breeza, which is a lifesaver at home, but when you are on the go this is the best and quickest thing! It takes a couple minutes to get a couple bottles, your Haakaa, medicine syringes, etc all cleaned and ready for use. One bag can be used up to 20 times!
