This room is where I spend most of my time honestly. While I am working my desk it's usually covered in notebooks that I am scribbling away on or three beverages I have yet to finish. I shift constantly between working at the desk or sitting on the infamous green couch. If you follow me on Instagram then you know what the rest of the room looks like. The mirror and the couch are some of the most photographed things in my home.
I spent a lot of time curating the items in my office given the heavy use. I was intentional about the products that made the most sense in my workstream. I won't lie my favorite part of the room is probably my closet full of books that nobody gets to see but me, I digress. Before you read my most used products below - I would like to see get yourself a whiteboard if you don't have one. Thank me later :)
Okay, now look at my favorite office needs.
Laptop Stand Holder: If you know me you know I ALWAYS have a minimum of two laptops or a laptop and an iPad on me. If you have a lot of electronics then I recommend buying this. Organization is the game here - so boom now they all have a place to live. I also keep them next to the charger so when I am done for the night they go in their slot and charge.
Desk Organizer: Again organization is the game - so it's important to keep everything I need within reach. I have my post-its, pens, highlighters, and screen cleaner/aromatherapy spray in there.
Monitor Memo Pad: I have one on each side of my desktop (as pictured). It usually has post-its with things that I am tracking and any reminders that I have. I use one side for work tasks and the other side for personal tasks.
Time Block: I honestly have like 3 different time blocks throughout my house, but the one that gets the most use is the one in my office. I have written about how/why I use time blocks in previous posts - so yeah, buy yourself one.
New bonus add-on item: As many of you know I work in the entertainment industry so I also just added a rolling TV stand for this room so I can take my work calls and still watch whatever I need to for work.
