WFH REMOTE LOCATIONS: NJ EDITION

I will be the first to admit I love working from home; I refuse to take my ass back to the city every day honestly - so remote life for 200pts, please. The downfall of working from home is that you are home all the time and sometimes the boundaries get blurry. Balance is hard when home is work and work is home. There are times when you don't know what the weather is outside because you have been in one spot all day. I have curated a space at home that I love working at, but nothing helps with a renewal of energy like stepping outside of the comfort of your home. Throughout the summer my goal was to at least leave my house once a week to work from another location. My go-to spot is usually Barnes N Noble honestly, but I did find some real gems when I allowed myself to venture out. I would like to point out that these are not coworking spaces but the majority of the below places are coffee shops that you COULD work in. I would like to set a slight disclaimer as I do not how these places hold up if you have back-to-back work calls where you need to speak/lead. I typically use my "admin" days to work outside of the home. That means I have my to-do list and headphones in most of the time while at these places.

Below are some coffee shops that provide an alternative to working at home:

Kubo Coffee & Creamery (Nutley)

Casa de Flora (Bloomfield)

Gussy's Cafe (Jersey City)

Little Sips Cafe (Harrison)

CLO Coffee (Edison)

Boss Blends Coffee (Newark)

Sugar Tree Cafe (Nutley)

The Grind Shop (Jersey City)

Café Esmé (Jersey City)

Semicolon Cafe (Jersey City)

Rey Sol (Ridgewood)

Over Easy Kitchen (Holmdel)

The Corner (Montclair)

Bonus: you deserve a little treat after all the hard work you've been doing The Cookie Connect (Bloomfield) or Dr. Fruit (Paterson)
